After training for my Full iron, I have decided I want to do more volunteering, and giving back this year. I also want to help my sister reach her dream of doing her first 70.3.

How AltRed has impacted my training:

The beginning of 2018 was my recovery to Ironman using AltRed. I would use it on my long bike rides and on my long runs too. I never really knew if it was my imagination, that I would ride 100 miles and feel good afterwards. I found that I had less muscle aches and recovered much faster using the product. On October 14 2018, I finished my first Ironman with the help of AltRed and many prayers. When I crossed that finish line, I felt so good. I recovered in 1 day, back to the pool in 4 days and on my bike on day 6. During my training I went from a 10:30 minute per mile to a 9 minute per mile for 6 – 8 miles. One of my runs, I was running an 8:45 per mile. That is crazy for me. I am a swimmer, not a runner. I finished Louisville in 13:03:01, That is a solid time for me for the conditions of the day.
