How AltRed has impacted my training:
I learned of the benefits of Beets for athletic performance early this year (2018) and started to incorporate a lot of beets and beet juice into my diet. It seem to have a marginal affect on my training, primarily keeping my heart rate in check during sustained efforts. My Zoot team member shared a promotional code for AltRed, so I started to take AltRed Betalins about a month before Ironman Lake Placid this past summer. Lake Placid was the first race that I used AltRed throughout the day and it was a breakthrough performance for me. I noticed I was less fatigued with higher efforts and felt that my body didn’t break down in the marathon like it had in the past. I finished 3rd amateur female and PR’d swim, bike and run and took 34 minutes off my Ironman time just 10 months before.
